Estrella Torres, born in Pacasmayo, Peru, on July 4, 1997, began her music
career at 16 as a member of the popular cumbia group Corazón Serrano, where she
rose to national fame performing hits like “Cuatro mentiras,” “Con la misma
moneda,” and “Decidí vivir sin ti.” After leaving the group in 2015, she
co-founded the all-female ensemble Puro Sentimiento with fellow ex-members,
releasing new versions of well-loved songs such as “Días felices.” In parallel,
