Filipe Ret, born Filipe Cavaleiro de Macedo da Silva Faria in Rio de Janeiro on
June 19, 1985, is a Brazilian rapper, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur
celebrated for blending philosophy and poetry with his distinctive style.
Growing up in the Catete neighborhood, he began his music career in 2003 through
MC battles in Lapa while pursuing a journalism degree. He debuted with Numa
Margem Distante in 2009, but his breakthrough came with the 2012 album Vivaz,
