Florent Marchet
Singer-songwriter and film composer Florent Marchet was born in Bourges, Cher
(France), on June 21, 1975. He was just five years old when he began learning to
play the piano. He then began his musical studies at the Bourges Conservatory of
Music and Dance, before really starting his artistic career in 1996, alternating
between performances in piano bars, on small stages, and as a musician in
schools, psychiatric hospitals and prisons. At the same time, he perfected his
guitar and bass technique, and learned the basics of mandolin and accordion.
