Gary Chaw
Interchangeably known as Gary Cao, Cao Ge, and Cao Ge, Gary Chaw is an
award-winning Mandopop artist and songwriter. He was born in Kota Belud, Sabah,
Malaysia, on July 9, 1979. Educated in Canada and New Zealand, he wrote songs
for artists like Aaron Kwok before launching his solo career with 2001's 曹格同名專輯.
The follow-up albums Blue and Superman both followed in 2006, earning Chaw
commercial success and critical acclaim. He was named "Best New Male Artist" at
the Hong Kong TVB8 Awards that year, then received a nomination for "Best Male
Mandarin Singer" at the 18th Golden Melody...
