Gaz Mawete
Gaz Mawete, real name Gaël Kapia Mawete, is a Congolese singer-songwriter and
dancer born on September 30, 1993 in Kinshasa. He made a name for himself in
2017 by winning the Vodacom Best of the Best All Star competition, which led to
his signing with the Bomaye Musik label. The following year, he met with great
success with"Olingi Nini", which went viral on YouTube and propelled him onto
the Afropop scene. In 2019, he took part in Dadju's album with the track"Mwasi
