Genesis Owusu is an Australian singer, rapper and producer, known for his unique
blend of hip-hop, funk, and soul. Born in Koforidua, Ghana on April 17, 1998 and
raised in Canberra, Australia, Owusu began his music career as a teenager,
honing his craft as a rapper and producer. Releasing his debut EP Cardrive in
2017 to critical acclaim, his single “Sideways” followed soon after, receiving
considerable attention on national radio station Triple J with 2019 double
