Hiding their identities behind masks, face paint, and religious robes,
Scandinavian rock demons Ghost create over-the-top, Satanic heavy metal. The
group formed in 2006 in Linkoping, Sweden, inspired by B-movie horror films as
well as 1970s metal bands. Led by frontman Papa Emeritus (real name: Tobias
Forge) and a cast of musicians known only as Nameless Ghouls, Ghost's debut
album Opus Eponymous transformed the musicians from underground cult oddities
