Hyperpop singer Glaive was born Ash Blue Gutierrez in Florida on January 20,
2005. He grew up in Hendersonville, North Carolina, where he played in a band
before embarking on his own career. He began composing and recording solo during
the Covid-19 pandemic, and took the name Glaive, inspired by the weapon in a
video game, Dark Souls III. The tracks he posted on his social account and
