Grégory Gumbs, aka Gums, has had an atypical career, going from young tennis prodigy to French electro dancehall hopeful. Alongside a real career on the international junior tennis circuit, Gums developed a passion for dancehall, the king of the West Indies, where he is originally from. Gums made Jamaica his preferred resting place between tournaments, but it was a chance meeting with Cutee B that turned his attention definitively to music.
