Guru Josh was the brainchild of producer Paul Walden who gave the acid house
dance movement one of its biggest hits with Infinity; a thumping tune notable
for its haunting sax breaks, dancing keyboards, distant vocals and trancey feel,
which heralded the club scene of the 1990s and came to symbolise and define the
rave culture for many. Originally emerging as a 12-inch with a limited issue of
1,000 pressings, Infinity became the top acid house anthem at Manchester's
famous Hacienda club, later becoming a Top 5 smash all over Europe - and was an
even bigger hit when it was updated...
