The Singaporean pop singer Hady Mirza rose to prominence in 2006, after winning
the second season of the televised singing competition Singapore Idol. Born as
Muhammad Mirzahady Bin Amir on January 28, 1980, he was raised by a Buginese
family and studied engineering before auditioning for Singapore Idol in February
