Formed by vocalist/guitarist Lzzy Hale and her brother, percussionist Arejay
Hale, Halestorm is one of the best-selling female-fronted hard rock acts in
American history. The siblings began playing together in 1997, while both
musicians were still children in Red Lion, Pennsylvania. Although they released
an independent EP, (Don't Mess With the) Time Man, in 1999, it wasn't until 2009
that Halestorm made its major-label debut with the self-titled album Halestorm.
