Born in a suburb of Paris and of Algerian descent, rapper Mounir Ben Chettouh
(December 5, 1992), aka Hornet La Frappe, began writing lyrics at the age of 13.
In 2012, he signed to the label TXT Productions, which was owned by Busta Flex,
a rapper from the same area of France. His first EP Réussir Ou Mounir was
released in 2014 but it did not reach the French charts. La Frappe formed his
own record label Diez Peufra in 2016 with some friends and began posting
material on a forum for rappers and hip-hop artists. His single “Gramme 2 Peuf,”
released in 2016, reached platinum sales....
