Hujan
Co-founded by vocalist Noh Salleh and guitarist AG Coco, Hujan became a popular
band in Malaysia's independent music scene before finding mainstream success
with the 2007 single "Pagi Yang Gelap." The group formed in 2005 in Kuala
Lumpur, with bassist Hang Dimas and drummer Azham Ahmad completing the original
lineup. A pair of EPs, 1, 2, 3, Go! and Check Check Rock Rock, were both
released in 2007, with "Pagi Yang Gelap" becoming one of the year's biggest
alternative rock hits in Malaysia. A full-length album, Hujan, followed in 2008.
