Rapper and singer Ian was born Ian Smith in St. Louis, Missouri on May 29, 2005.
He began his career in 2018 under the pseudonym Suburbancerberus, releasing his
own remixes of songs by popular artists on social media. The following year, he
began producing other artists before finally working on his own music. Mixing a
clean-cut, suburban image with his love of hip-hop and trap music, Ian received
a significant amount of press when he released his debut solo single, “Figure It
