Ivy Quainoo was born in Berlin on August 25, 1992 and has Ghanaian roots. She
rose to fame in 2012 as the winner of the first season of The Voice of Germany.
Her victory led directly to the release of her debut album Ivy, which was
released on March 2, 2012. The album reaches number 5 in the German charts and
is certified gold. The single "Do You Like What You See" is particularly
successful , reaching number 2 in the German singles charts and also achieving
