One of the most enigmatic figures in recent music history, guitarist and keyboardist James Mason delivered a single jazz funk album before vanishing completely from the music industry shortly after. Following a stint as Roy Ayers’ guitar player in the late 70s, Mason released Rhythm of Life, his studio debut, in 1977.
