Fronted by vocalist Kim Yoon-ah, Jaurim is a South Korean rock band whose
award-winning career spans more than two decades. Yoon-ah, bassist Kim Jin-man,
guitarist Lee Sun-kyu, and drummer Goo Tae-hoon began performing together under
the name "Full Count" in 1993. They changed their name to Jaurim in 1997 and
released their debut album, Purple Heart, later that year. Although the record
failed to generate much buzz outside the band's hometown of Seoul, South Korea,
Jaurim earned national attention with 1998's Lover, which peaked at Number 18 on
