Affiliated with the new French scene of the 2000s, Jeanne Cherhal adorns her
songs with a neo-realist universe that does not exclude sensitivity, and
sometimes irony. Born in Nantes on February 28, 1978, she grew up in Erbray and
studied philosophy, before devoting herself to a musical career. Solo at the
piano or in the company of pop-rock musicians or even an orchestra, she recorded
a first self-produced mini-album of six tracks, released in 2001 by Madame Suzie
