In 2023, Jean-Luc Monteagudo became known to the general public under the stage
name of Jeck when he took part in the TV singing competition The Voice . The
singer and musician, born in Paris in June 1992 and based in Nice, in the
Alpes-Maritimes, was inspired by his early elimination to record his first
single, "Défaite", which racked up hundreds of thousands of views on online
