The prolific British indie-rock performer and author Jim Bob was born James Neil
Morrison in London on November 22, 1960. He began gigging in various bands as a
teenager, eventually becoming a member of Jamie Wednesday and then the lead
singer of the punk act Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine. He launched a solo
career in 2001 with JR, which was credited to James Rovert Morrison. That same
year he founded the ongoing side project Jim’s Super Stereoworld. He continued
