The renowned jazz trumpeter Jon Faddis has enjoyed a solo career as a recording
artist spanning 30 years but his work as a session player is probably more
familiar to the record buying public. Songs such as the 1970s hit 'Disco
Inferno' feature his trumpet playing and he has also appeared on four Paul Simon
albums including the double Grammy Award winning 'Graceland' on which Faddis
played the catchy trumpet hook on 'You Can Call Me Al'.
