Born on May 23, 1992, in Tokoroa, New Zealand, musician, singer, songwriter, and
producer Jordan Rakei, moved from New Zealand to Brisbane, Australia at three
years old before settling in London in 2015. His musical journey began with
self-released EPs like Live at Recording Oasis and Franklin's Room in 2013 when
he was 21. At 22, he released Groove Curse EP on the Soul Has No Tempo label and
gained recognition for collaborating with artists like FKJ and Tom Misch,
earning a Grammy nomination in 2015 for his work on Disclosure's hit track
