The daughter of late comedienne Lydia Sum Tin-ha and singer Adam Cheng Siu-chow, C-pop singer, actress and writer Joyce Cheng has been in the public eye since 2005 when she performed the role of Snow White in the Hong Kong Disneyland opening ceremony. Born in Vancouver – where she spent the majority of her childhood – on May 30, 1987, Cheng moved back to Hong Kong permanently in 2006 and made her musical debut that same year with the video, 靠自己, "Kaau Zi Gei" .
