JT, born Jatavia Shakara Johnson on 3 December 1992, in Liberty City, Miami, is
one half of the hit hip-hop duo City Girls. Alongside her musical partner Yung
Miami (Caresha Romeka Brownlee), the pair have become a prominent force in the
rap industry and Billboard chart regulars. City Girls burst onto the scene in
2017 with their debut mixtape Period, which set the wheels in motion for their
career. It was followed quickly by their debut studio album, Girl Code, in 2018,
