Jyoti Nooran, born on February 24, 1994, in Phillaur, Punjab, India, is one half
of the acclaimed Nooran Sisters, a Sufi singing duo she forms with her sister
Sultana Nooran. Growing up in a family steeped in musical tradition, Jyoti
Nooran was trained in the Sham Chaurasia gharana of classical music by her
