Encarnita García de Jesús, who goes by the name Kany Garcia, is a Latin pop
singer-songwriter from Puerto Rico who first garnered attention when she
appeared on the local television talent show 'Objetivo Fama' in 2004. She made
her recording debut in 2007 with the album 'Cualquier Dia', which went to number
ten on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and number 48 on the Top Latin Albums
chart. She won the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist and the recording was
