Karimouche

Comedy
French chanson
French alternative rock
Karimouche is inspired by slam, hip-hop and alternative rock. Her natural glibness shines through on Emballage d'Origine, released in February 2010. A dancer, songwriter and singer, Karimouche claims to be a fan of Fréhel, and her lyrics make no bones about her roots in chanson réaliste. Current and concerned, they bounce to the beat of rhythms that are sometimes funky, sometimes rock. Karimouche hits the bull's-eye with ease and casualness. His second album, Action, was released in March 2015.
