Born in Alexander City, Alabama, singer, musician and songwriter Kashus
Culpepper is a Navy veteran who turned to music. He began singing in church as a
child, and became particularly interested in blues and country, developing his
own style as he performed five concerts a week on local stages. Settling in
Nashville, he joined the country community and made a name for himself through
social networks and listening platforms. His first single, "After Me?", released
in 2024, went viral before entering the Top 40 Radio Adult Alternative Songs,
