Born in Tehran on August 18, 1987, Kianush, real name Kianush Rashedi, moved to the socially problematic Kinderhaus district of Münster as a teenager. He attends a youth club there called Streetsound, which encourages his development as a rap artist. After a series of robberies, he is arrested and serves time in prison from 2011 to 2014.
