小泉今日子

J-Pop singer and actress Kyōko Koizumi was born in Atsugi, Kanagawa, Japan on
February 4, 1966. She came to prominence in 1981 when she was a contestant on
televised talent show Star Tanjo! She released her first single, “My 16 Year
Old,” in 1982, followed closely by her debut album, My Fantasy. That same year,
she also began a long career on television, appearing on the show Toge no Gunzo
(1982). She began to build an audience with a series of singles that landed in
the Top 10, finally reaching the Number 1 position with the 1984 singles “Beach
Mermaid,” “Labyrinth Andorra,” “Ya...
