Born on 11 January 1996 in the Ulsan Metropolitan City, South Korea, Lee
Chan-won made a name for himself as one of the top six singers on South Korean
hit series, Mr. Trot, a reality audition show where singers perform trot; a
century-old genre of Korean popular music. After winning third place on the
show, in 2020 Lee marked his debut single release with "Fate in Time" and went
to number two in South Korea the following year with his debut EP ..Gift (..선물).
