All-boy choir Libera was set up by Robert Prizeman – born in London, UK on
February 28, 1952 – who studied organ and harpsichord before becoming the
choirmaster at St. Philip's Church in Norbury, South London in 1970. The
original incarnation of Libera first formed in the mid-'80s and released their
first commercial recording, "Sing Forever" in 1987, with an album of the same
name following in 1988, released as St Philip's Choir. The title track was used
as the first BBC Children in Need telethon anthem. During the 1990s, the choir
