Emerging from the Ciudad Satélite neighborhood of Maipú in 2003, Chilean hip hop
duo Liricistas—formed by MCs Armestyle (Pedro Cruells) and Benjamic (Benjamín
Carvajal)—quickly gained traction in the local scene through self-recorded
tracks that mixed everyday reflections with sharp social commentary. Their early
homemade efforts culminated in Más Abajo, a raw but honest debut that laid the
foundation for their evolving sound. In 2011, with the support of Nicolás Vera
