Lisa Nilsson (August 13, 1970) is a Swedish singer whose slick blend of soul and
pop music reached the top of the charts in the early 90s. The daughter of jazz
musician Gösta Nilsson, she studied to become a professional ballet dancer
before pivoting to music in the late 80s. After a brief stint as part of the
group Stage Four and winning the Stjärnskott talent contest in 1987, she
participated in the 29th edition of the Melodifestivalen with the song “Du
