Born in New York in 1967, the Latin-American freestyle and dance pop singer
began working as a backing vocalist with producer Carlos Berrios, before
launching a career under her own name. Produced by Berrios and Frankie Cutlass,
"Together Forever" (1991) brought her to the top of the Billboard charts at #35,
followed by "A Day in My Life (Without You)" (#49) and the album Together
Forever for the Columbia-affiliated Fever Records label. In 1993, "Goody Goody"
