Quebec rap group first formed under the name Locos Loquaces in Quebec City
(Canada) in 1995, by Biz and Batlam (then nicknamed Snou). In 1998, the group
teamed up with Chaffik and changed its name to Loco Locass. In March 1999, they
took part in the Révélation Hip-Hop 99 contest, winning second prize. In the
fall of the same year, they entered another contest, the Francouvertes. In
February 2000, they won the final against Abitibi songwriter Gaétan Leboeuf and
