Drawing comparisons to Portishead, the XX and Florence and the Machine, London
Grammar make grand, melancholic, electro-pop soundscapes that elevated them to
breakthrough band status in 2013. Hannah Reid (vocals) and Dan Rothman (guitar)
met while at Nottingham University and formed the band in 2009, with Dot Major
(multi-instrumentalist) joining later. Together they started playing gigs in
