Los Cuates de Sinaloa
Los Cuates de Sinaloa, formed by cousins Gabriel and Martiniano Berrelleza,
emerged from La Vainilla, Sinaloa in 1995, and built their career in Phoenix,
Arizona, where they refined their stripped-down, guitar-driven take on the
Sierreño genre. After years of performing at private events and local venues,
they gained national recognition with their 2006 signing to Sony BMG and the
release of Puro Sierreño Bravo, which reached Number 13 on the Billboard Top
