Marcin Wasilewski
Marcin Wasilewski is a Polish jazz pianist and composer who has performed since
1993 with bassist Slawomir Kurkiewicz and percussionist Michal Miskiewicz. As
the Simple Acoustic Trio, they released the albums 'Komeda' (1995), 'When Will
the Blues Leave' (1996), 'Live in Getxo' (2996), 'Habanera' (2000), 'Lyrics'
(2001) and 'Trio' (2005). They also collaborated with the late Polish trumpet
player Tomasz Stanko on the albums 'Soul of Things' (2001), 'Suspended Night'
(2003) and 'Lontano' (2006). They toured America three times and played with
many other top artists.
