The Polish-German singer Mark Forster was born Marek Cwiertnia in Winnweiler,
Germany on January 11, 1983. After moving to Berlin, Forster began his musical
career as a jingle writer for television including working on the popular German
TV show Krömer - Die Internationale Show where he worked as a pianist and
sidekick for the show's host, comedian Kurt Krömer. In 2006 Forster joined the
band Balboa as a frontman prior to signing a solo deal with the German label
