Masaharu Fukuyama is known for his acting, production, photography and work as a
radio host, but it's his three decades on the J-pop scene as a singer-songwriter
creating melodic pop-rock that he is best known for.
Fukuyama was born in Nagasaki in 1969 and made his debut as a musician with the
single 'Tsuioku No Ame No Naka' in 1991. Though he released three albums and
made his first major appearance as an actor over the next couple of years, it
