Runners-up often win over the public, and that's how Mathieu Edward's story
begins. An unsuccessful finalist in Star Academy 7 against Quentin Mosimann, he
made up for it with the success of his debut album Entre Toi et Moi, released in
July 2008. Mathieu Edward quickly climbed the French charts, with Entre Toi et
Moi reaching No. 10, while "Entre toi et moi" and "Comme avant" with Sheryfa
Luna were real hits, reaching No. 7 and No. 3 respectively.
