The German singer, songwriter and musician Maximilian Nepomuk "Max" Mutzke was
born on May 21, 1981 in Waldshut-Tiengen. He sings in both German and English
and his spectrum ranges from pop and rock to soul, funk and jazz. He began his
singing career in the funk band Project Five. His breakthrough came in 2004 when
he won the TV format Stefan sucht den Super-Grand-Prix-Star. With the song
"Can't Wait Until Tonight", written and produced by Stefan Raab, he made a
