Melanie Martinez (April 28, 1995) is an American pop singer who gained fame when
she reached the Top 6 on the US version of The Voice. Born in New York, she had
also tried out on the MSG Varsity Talent Show but her performance on The Voice
of the single “Seven Nation Army” (2012) reached Number 10 on Billboard's Hot
Rock Songs Chart and “Too Close,” also released that same year, peaked at Number
11. She released an EP titled Dollhouse in 2014 followed in 2015 by her debut
album Cry Baby, which topped Billboard's Alternative Albums Chart and went to
