Swiss-born Londoner Michele "Misty" Oldland made her debut with the female duo
Oldland Montano on the album The Time Has Come (1988). Now a nightclub manager,
the classically trained musician (cello, piano) returned in 1993 with "Got Me A
Feeling" (duet with Omar) and the hit album Supernatural (1994), from which "A
Fair Affair (Je T'aime) ", based on a Serge Gainsbourg sample, reached No. 20 in
France. With her musicians from the soul and acid jazz scene, Misty Oldland
records the album Luminous (1998) and adapts Georges Brassens' "L'Étranger "
into "The Stranger" for the Englis...
