The Colombian music ensemble Monsieur Periné began to take shape in 2007 when
vocalist Catalina García, guitarist Nicolás Junca, and
multi-instrumentationalist Santiago Prieto first began performing together along
with Camilo Parra. While they first played covers of popular Latin artists, they
soon included a jazz influence and began to work on original material. They
