Monster Truck's brand of hard rock made the Canadian group a chart-topping act in 2013, when the single "Sweet Mountain River" reached Number 1 on the Canadian Rock chart. Formed in Hamilton, Ontario, in 2009, the band originally featured vocalist/bassist Jon Harvey, guitarist Jeremy Widerman, keyboardist Brandon Bliss, and drummer Steve Kiely. Monster Truck debuted with a self-titled EP in 2010, then cracked the Top 10 in Canada for the first time with 2011's "Seven Seas Blues," which appeared on The Brown EP.
