Mrs. Greenbird is a German folk-pop duo consisting of Sarah Brückner (née Nücken, born January 20, 1984 in Siegburg) and Steffen Brückner (born March 23, 1976 in Kamp-Lintfort). The duo formed in Cologne in 2006 and initially found their sound as wedding singers and through performances in smaller venues such as bars and cafés. They celebrated their breakthrough in 2012 by winning the third season of the TV casting show X Factor in Germany, which brought them wider recognition and a larger fan base.
