Nab Fake, a rapper from Rabat, was a leading figure in Moroccan underground rap.
A member of the Fake Gang collective, he drew his inspiration from old-school
hip-hop, influenced by boom-bap classics and committed lyricists. His
hard-hitting writing and raw flow made him a respected artist on the local
scene. His signature single,"Orca", remains a staple of his live shows, with
fans singing along. Over the course of his career, he collaborated with artists
such as Furelise and Norf Africa, affirming his status within Moroccan rap. His
death in December 2024 marked a turning point...
